This is one for the hardcore olive lovers out there!
These kalamata olives have been simply cured in rock salt straight after picking, then tossed the olives in our Frantoio Extra Virgin Olive Oil. This drying process slightly shrivels the olives, giving them an intense umami quality and pure, concentrated Kalamata flavour.
They are great as a snack with a drink (think a crisp lager or dry Riesling), in salads or rehydrated in braised dishes.
