Float your boat with this spicy Australian finishing sprinkle featuring ground Victorian kelp. Great on noodles, grilled meats, rice, veg dishes and soups. With medium heat, this is our Australian take on Shichimi Togarashi (seven spice) which is an incredibly popular condiment in Japan. Ingredients: Aleppo pepper, dried Victorian kelp, black pepper, sesame seeds (black and white), tomato powder, ground ginger. Gluten free. Always store with lid on in a cool, dry place. Please recycle container with your other hard plastics.

Enjoyable but not comparable to Japanese shichimi togarashi

A fine product but I'm not sure I'd buy it again. It doesn't have the fragrant lift or bright chilli kick of other shichimi togarashi blends. It's a heavier, eathier flavour spectrum - which I won't be topping my grilled chicken. Still delicious on eggs or avocado - but maybe drop the 'scichimi togarashi' label.
