This smokey little number is probably the closest thing Ultra Culture have to a BBQ sauce. Though it is also absolutely wild with dumplings and other asian dishes. Loads of garlic, sweet from the orange juice and complexity from fermented apples it is one of the best things to come out of the UC workshop we think.

Ultra Culture was started by long time lovers Alex and Holly during that first weird-wave of covid isolation in Melbourne. Initially, they didn’t intend on doing anything other than making a couple batches of feijoa jalapeno hot sauce for friends. Turns out people really dug it so they made more. And more.

Now, in their fourth year, they produce between 10 and 12 different flavours of sauce and some other condiments too.

They are seekers of flavour and snipers for a good design.
