Umami Wonder Dust is an all-out umami bomb!  100% Victorian kelp (including the prized mekabu section of the Wakame plant) smoked with local tea tree then ground to a fine powder. 

What does Umami Wonder Dust taste like and how do I use it?
This is an exotic umami experience. The tea tree imparts a lovely smoky character to the dried kelp. It's a special product that can be lightly dusted over finished dishes for a smoky, umami lift. It's quite unique and used by chefs in some very high end Australian restaurants.

We are so excited to add this latest offering to our Friends of Mount Zero range. This product aligns with our goals of sustainability, nutrition and a darn good taste! Southern Seagreens is the coming together of three friends with a shared love for the sea. By combining their skills, they realised they could work with the sun and sea and learn to farm native seaweed in Victorian coastal waters.
